As we celebrate fathers across our nation, take time to evaluate yourself. If you have children, what areas do you need to work on?
Find 2-3 things you need to improve on as a father and focus on them for the next 21 days.
Happy Father's Day!!
The kids are out of school and summer is in full swing. Review all your plans: vacation, summer camps, Vacation Bible School, adventures.... discuss what you want to do and make any final decisions for this to be a summer to remember.
Memories are the one thing that will last a lifetime, don't miss the opportunity to make the most of this summer.
If your wife takes care of the laundry, time this week to help out or even take over. If you don't have much experience, you may want some assistance in sorting, what cycle to wash on, and what items need to be air dried. Don't forget to fold and put it all away after you are done.
If you do the laundry, take over something else she normally does to give her a break.
As Mother's Day comes to an end, don't forget the point. Whether you have children or not, celebrate your wife throughout this entire week. Show her love, attention, and care each and every day. Make Mother's Day an all-week adventure.
Spring is in full swing and it is a great time to do a bit of spring cleaning. Organize the entire family to go through closets, storage areas, bedrooms, and living areas. Pile up all the things you don't need any longer and organize what is left.
Get everyone involved in cleaning the house top to bottom. Have contests to see who can clean the fastest. When done find a family in need, have a garage sale, or haul everything to a local charity.
With the weather turning nice it is a great time to get outdoors. Take your wife for a walk around your home to come up with a plan on sprucing up the outside.
Head to your local nursery or home goods store and make your dream a reality. Involve the whole family.
